Fall Parent/Son Weekend at Camp McNeill

All Cub Scouts and their parents or sponsor(18 or older) are invited to attend the Fall Parent/Son Weekend at Camp McNeill Cub Scout World. Fall Parent/Son Weekend provides an extravaganza of fun and activities for both the Cub Scout and his parent while allowing the parent and son to get to know each other better. It will be an experience that will be remembered by both.

The activities for the weekend include: BB Guns, Archery, Tom Sawyer Raft races, Nature, Pirate Ship, Western Fort, Native American Crafts, Fishing, and a great campfire program.

The $30 fee includes dinner on Saturday, Breakfast on Sunday, ammunition, rafts, BB Guns, Bows and Arrows, a limited edition Fall 1998 Parent Son Weekend Patch, and all program materials. Sessions are limited to the first 250 Cub Scouts who sign up.

A limited edition Fall 1998 Parent Son Weekend patch will be given to the first 250 Cub Scouts who sign up.

Things you will need to bring: Personal Clothing, jacket, toilet articles, soap, towel, uniform(if you have one), shoes, pillow, sleeping bag or blanket, flashlight, raincoat, tent, canteen, fishing gear, and any other personal camping equipment. Plan for COLD/RAINY nights! Bring a bag lunch for Saturday. The trading post will be open on Saturday and will have drinks, snacks, t-shirts, candy, and other items for you to purchase.

SATURDAY
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration and set up campsite. Lunch is on your own. Tents can be provided for $5.
1:00 p.m. Opening ceremony
1:30 p.m. Activites
6:30 p.m. Dinner
8:30 p.m. Campfire
10:00 p.m. Taps
SUNDAY
8:00 a.m. Breakfast
8:45 a.m. Chapel
10:00 a.m. Head for home
Registration Form

The fee is $30 for Parent and Son. Plan to bring a tent to sleep in. If you do not have a tent, they can be rented for $5.00. You may bring one additional boy for $15.00 more. Fees are non-refundable. Event will be held rain or shine.
